From idea to industry standard

Our story began back in 2005, when Jonas Peterson was working in Shanghai and realised the potential of creating an entirely new type of tyre supply for the Swedish market. What began as a factory project became the foundation of Frösshammar AB – a family business still driven today by the same simple idea:

“Do it properly. Do it sustainably.”

Early on, we discovered what many had overlooked:

A wheel is a complete unit – not just a tyre.

That is why we developed our concept of pre-fitted premium wheels:

balanced with zinc weights
filled with nitrogen
ready to fit directly onto the vehicle

A solution that saves time, reduces downtime and provides a longer service life. It quickly became our hallmark – and is today standard for many of Sweden's leading hauliers.

Sustainability in practice – not in theory

Long before sustainability became a buzzword, we operated circularly:

reused and refurbished rims
retreaded tyres
optimised production workflows to minimise waste
early environmental certification via Svensk Miljöbas

When we needed new premises, we found something unique: an underground cavern in Kumla.

There, all our tyres are stored in an environment that is virtually perfect:

constant temperature of approx. +10°C
over 80% humidity
completely free from UV light and weather exposure

This protects the rubber, extends its lifespan and ensures that our products are always delivered in peak condition.
